If you need more I/O than is available on your controller you can expand it with this RLY8IO expansion board. Eight additional relay outputs and eight opto-coupled inputs. These card is connected through the Modbus-RTU interface of the controller.
If you prefer to use separate wires to hook up your CNC720 this breakout board will help you. Simply plugin this on top of the CNC720 and start wiring your controller.
With this piggy back module you can expand the CPU5B with an ethernet port. Since the controller location is now no longer limited to the length of the USB cable larger distances are possible. Furthermore the ethernet communication is much more reliable and robust against EMC noise.
Note: after this module has been installed, please upgrade the firmware with the ethernet firmware version.
